Adjusting the plan to you

If you are strong in Maths but weak in Science, swap time so the weaker subject gets the first, freshest block. If you have tuition on some days, reduce blocks on those days and add on weekends. Review the timetable every two weeks.

Monthly goals

Set a target for each month: chapters to finish, tests to take and revision rounds. Tick them off on a wall chart. Visible progress builds motivation.

Using breaks well

Short walks, stretching, water and a healthy snack refresh the brain. Avoid social media in breaks; it often extends the break and drains focus.

Three months before boards

Shift from new learning to practice: one sample paper every two to three days, with careful checking. Keep the final two weeks for light revision and rest.

Weekends

One full-length practice paper, weekly revision and time for hobbies.

Frequently asked questions

How many hours should a Class 10 student study?

About 3–4 focused hours after school is enough for most.

Should I study late at night?

Regular sleep matters more; avoid late nights.

When should I start sample papers?

From about four months before boards.

What if I fall behind the timetable?

Do not try to cover everything in one day; adjust the next week’s plan and catch up gradually.
