Daily routine

Attend school or coaching, study 3–5 focused hours, solve problems daily and revise weekly. Sleep and exercise protect performance.

Resources that work

NCERT textbooks for concepts, one standard reference book per subject for problem solving, previous years' JEE papers, and regular full-length mock tests. Too many books cause confusion; master a few.

Mock test routine

From the middle of Class 12, take one full mock test weekly, then spend twice as long analysing it. Track accuracy by chapter and fix weak areas before the next test.

Mental health and balance

Sleep at least seven hours, keep one hour for exercise or play most days, and talk to family about stress. Burnout reduces performance more than any missing topic.

Is JEE right for you?

JEE preparation takes two years of focused effort. Before committing, check that you genuinely enjoy physics, chemistry and especially mathematics problem solving, and that engineering or science careers excite you. Our Class 11–12 assessment can confirm whether your interests and aptitude support this path or suggest better-fit alternatives.

Keep backups

Prepare for state CETs and BITSAT too, and keep board marks strong.

Frequently asked questions

Is coaching necessary for JEE?

Not always; many succeed with self-study and online resources.

How many hours should I study?

Quality matters more than hours; consistency is key.

Should I take a career test first?

Yes, to confirm engineering is the right fit before investing two years.

When should I start mock tests?

Chapter tests from Class 11, and full-length mocks from mid Class 12.
