How to choose

Ask yourself whether you want to work directly with patients, in a laboratory, in industry or in research. Patient-facing roles need empathy and stamina; lab roles need precision; research needs curiosity and patience. A career assessment helps match your interests and personality to these settings.

A realistic plan if you are still attempting NEET

If you plan another NEET attempt, apply to one of these courses in parallel where possible, or choose a course you would genuinely enjoy if the attempt does not work out. Avoid spending more than one or two drop years without a backup.

Choosing well

Patient-facing roles (nursing, physiotherapy) suit social, caring students. Lab and research roles suit investigative students. Psychology suits those interested in the mind and behaviour.
