Kolhapur: education, industry and tradition

Frequently asked questions
Does Shivaji University have a home-university quota?
In Maharashtra CAP admissions, many seats in a college are reserved for candidates from the same university area. Check the current CET Cell rules for exact percentages.
Is mechanical engineering still a good choice?
Yes, especially in industrial regions like Kolhapur, but choose it because you enjoy machines and design, not only because jobs exist.
Can parents join the session?
Yes. We encourage parents to join, online or in person.
