Pune has many options. How do you choose?
Pune is one of India's biggest education cities, and career test providers are everywhere: schools, coaching institutes, independent counsellors and apps. Prices range from free online quizzes to expensive packages. Some are excellent. Some are little more than a horoscope with a logo.
Use the checklist below to judge any test, including ours.
A 7-point checklist for any psychometric test
- Does it measure more than one thing? Interests, aptitude and personality together give a fuller picture than any one alone.
- Is it made for the student's age? A Class 7 student and a college student need different tests.
- Is there a real report? Look for a sample report before paying.
- Does it suggest specific streams, courses and careers, with reasons?
- Is a counsellor involved? A report without a conversation is easy to misread.
- Is it scientifically grounded? Avoid fingerprint (DMIT) or birth-date based "career prediction".
- Is the price clear, with no pressure to buy coaching packages afterwards?
