About the exam
Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun is a residential school that prepares boys for a career in the armed forces. Admission is to Class 8. Each state sends an advertisement inviting applications, and the written test is held by the state.
Eligibility
- Studying in Class 7 or passed Class 7 from a recognised school.
- Age not less than 11.5 years and not more than 13 years on the date given in the notice (1 January of the admission year in the last notice).
